The Board of Directors of the Cengiz Kovaç-led Kosovo Youth Union Association elected Cengiz Kovaç as President at its meeting held on 29 June 2016. He was unanimously elected as the sole candidate.
During the meeting, it was also decided that the election of the Association’s other governing bodies would take place at the next meeting.
In his farewell speech, former Board President Aşim Şaçir thanked the founding members, board members, and all members for their moral and financial support to the Association and wished success to the new administration.
